Football The World Cup continues on Sunday with four matches, and the game is already about securing the next places and escaping them.

In the first match of the day, Japan had a chance to clinch a ticket to the playoffs in Group E when they faced Costa Rica.

The teams started the match with quite different setups. In their opening match, Japan surprised Germany with 2–1 goals, but Costa Rica got a bad backlash when Spain crushed it 7–0.

The previous matches did not weigh much, but Costa Rica surprised and won 1–0 Keysher Fullerin with a goal in the 81st minute.

Germany and Spain tied the scores 1-1 in the top match of the evening. Alvaro Morata took Spain into the lead after just over an hour of the game with a skillful drive into the front corner.

Germany’s equalizer was completed by Niclas filling jugwho shot the ball with power into the top corner in the 83rd minute.

The draw meant that Spain has four points, Japan and Costa Rica have three and Germany has one.

In the final round, Japan will face Spain. Germany, on the other hand, will play for the next place against Costa Rica.

In block F and then we saw an even bigger surprise when Belgium lost to Morocco with a score of 2–0.

Belgium, the second in the world list, was really quiet, and Morocco, ranked 22nd, joined the fight for the next place Abdulhamid Sabirin and Zakaria Aboukhlal with hits in the last 20 minutes.

In the second match of Group F, Canada started scoring against Croatia in the second minute of the match, but after that, Croatia took the lead.

Andrej Kramarić hit twice and Ivan Perišić scored two goals as Croatia eventually cruised to an easy 4–1 win.

Croatia and Morocco are tied at the top of the group with four points. Pre-favorite Belgium has three points. Canada is at zero and lost the chances for the playoffs.

In the last round, Croatia will face Belgium and Morocco Canada, who are playing back to back.
