
Belarusian tennis player Arina Sabalenka reached the final of the Australian Open Championship in Melbourne today, after defeating the 45th tennis player in the world Magda Linet from Poland after two sets, 7:6, 6:2.
The fifth female tennis player in the world won after one hour and 25 minutes.
In the first set, the tennis players made one break each and a tie-break was played, which Sabalenka won 7:1.
The Belarusian dominated the second set, she made two breaks and took a 5:1 lead. In the seventh game, she did not use three match points on her opponent’s serve, but she won the next game on her own serve and qualified for the final.
On Saturday, Sabalenka will play in the final against Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, who earlier today defeated Victoria Azarenka from Belarus 7:6, 6:3.
It will be the first Grand Slam final for Sabalenka, while Ribakina won Wimldon last year.
